Tankard app 7x5 oil on wood panel

This is a piece from my collection. I once lived in a worn out old house on a lake in southern Missouri. All the house had going for it were wonderful views, knotty pine walls and a magnificent stacked stone fireplace obviously built by a professional fireplace builder. It had a heavy, long mantelpiece. I started buying copper pieces for the mantel in flea markets. I still have the copper but I no longer have the fireplace. My copper is packed away, waiting for another great fireplace. The fireplace I have now is a gas-log and pristine white thing . I have never cared much for pristine.
