Roses are probably the most popular flower in the world. They are symbols of everthing between the Virgin Mary and Aprodite and Venus. It is also the official flower of several states and governments and a lot of sports teams. It is also known for its scent, and it's thorns. Rose is the word for red in a lot of languages, and sub rosa is a phrase for secret.
