radishes. oil on wood panel. 5x7

Radishes are fun to paint, I think because of the red and green color. Most red vegetables are an orangey-red, while radishes are downright alizerin crimson. This painting reminds me of two red (alien?) rodents feasting contentedly on some leafy greens with their white tails wagging.
